Mike Tyson: ‘No One Can Stop Me, I’m Invincible’

Mike Tyson is one of the most famous boxers in the world. Despite retiring in 2005, ‘Iron Mike’ has been synonymous with being one of the most dangerous men in the world. And the former heavyweight champion has now claimed he felt invincible.

Tyson enjoyed a lot of success throughout his career. He became the youngest heavyweight champion of the world at 20, and that success brought a lot of controversy and bad habits. ‘Iron Mike’ has now explained what pushed him to change his ways.

The 50-6 boxer spoke to Shakur Stevenson on an episode of ‘Hotboxin with Mike Tyson’ and said, “F**k the comeback. Everybody knew I was in the gutter, everybody knew I was doing dope, it’s about this. I want to be up more than anybody in the f***ing world deep down. No one can stop me, I’m invincible.”

This comment from the former champion showed that he only wanted to change his ways to feel invincible again. This is because as Tyson enjoyed the lavish lifestyle, his performance in the ring deteriorated.

Therefore, these comments explained why he changed his lifestyle.

Mike Tyson desires to be number one even today

Tyson may have referred to the time he was at the top of the sport. And while the change in his lifestyle is well documented, the former heavyweight champion still strives to be the best. So why does Mike Tyson still want to be number one?

The ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ has previously explained how his ego dominates him. Therefore, it could be a case of his ego pushing him to be the best even now.

While many retired boxers take to different roles after their fighting days, Tyson is still fighting exhibition bouts.

Moreover, even with the exhibition bouts, the former heavyweight champion wants to be the ‘A-Side.’ This led to the fall-out between him and Triller, despite their successful first association together.
