WWE has done everything to ensure that their next generation of wrestling talent gets the best overall development. The NXT superstars have greatly benefited, and the main roster wrestlers as well as the fans have acknowledged this. One such superstar who benefited from it is Raquel Gonzalez.
Transformation of the NXT Women’s champion Raquel Gonzalez
On May 24, 2021, BT Sport WWE uploaded an appreciation post for Raquel Gonzalez ahead of her match today [25 May 2021] on NXT. The caption read,

The first picture in the post shows Raquel Gonzalez followed by a video message from ‘The Monster Among Men’ and ‘The Nightmare‘. Both the main roster Superstars spoke highly of the current NXT Women’s champion.
They also said that she will take the championship to new levels. The picture is a before and after comparison which really shows how the NXT Women’s champion has changed over time.
In the video, Braun Strowman declares that Raquel is an animal, and he feels bad for the girls that have to step into the ring with her. He even went as far as to say that she has to hold back while wrestling and is a one of a kind specimen. Braun lauded her commitment to the company as well as in bettering herself in the process.
The WWE Raw Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley, also had something to say about Raquel. Rhea stated that she has always seen great things in Raquel for a long time.
Rhea knows the struggles that Raquel has been through and how people have been doubting Raquel her whole career. She applauded Raquel and gave a throwback to the time Raquel defeated her in a Last Woman Standing match at NXT New Year’s Evil. The match was as brutal as it could be, with Raquel being the eventual winner at the end.
Tag Team match at NXT
Raquel Gonzalez is all set to face Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart (current NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions) along with her partner Dakota Kai. The fans are looking forward to the match as all four women have what it takes to elevate the NXT Women’s division to the next level.
