The Melbourne Demons have confirmed all their players and staff have returned negative COVID-19 tests after a scare threatened their blockbuster Friday night game against the top-of-the-table Bulldogs.
"Players and staff are now clear to attend the club's Round 11 clash with the Bulldogs," the club confirmed in a statement.
"The player who attended a tier one exposure site will continue to undertake his 14-day isolation as per government regulation."
AFL boss Gillon McLachlan said there is still some uncertainty as to how Victoria's seven-day "circuit-breaker" will affect the season's scheduled games beyond Round 11.
"Candidly, no [I don't know what's happening next week]," he told 3AW.
"We are planning for all the contingencies our instincts tell us.
"We are not think about moving into hubs right now."
