Parramatta Eels five-eighth Dylan Brown is facing a two-week suspension after being charged for a crusher tackle in the final match of Round 5 of Sunday night.
The 17th-minute incident saw Brown cited by the MRC for his tackle on Tyrel Fuimaono, in the Eels' loss to the Dragons at Bankwest Stadium.
Brown was slapped with a grade one charge over the incident.
Should he take the early guilty plea, his ban will be reduced to one match.
Meanwhile, teammate Clint Gutherson has been slapped with a $1150-$1500 fine for a grade one careless high tackle on Adam Clune.
He has the opportunity to have it wiped at the NRL judiciary.
