There's a sponsorship stand-off brewing, and it could threaten to derail Tim Tszyu's clash with Dennis Hogan.
Hogan wants to have his betting sponsor, PointsBet, represented on his fight shorts but Tszyu's camp, No Limit Boxing, isn't having a bar as it directly clashes with their partner Sportsbet.
It all came to a head at Monday's press conference when Hogan was told by No Limit's Matt Rose to remove a PointsBet T-shirt. And the Irishman was still fuming about it at Tuesday's weigh-in.
"I don't care," he told reporters. "I'm not coming out unless I've got my sponsors on there.
"That's the deal that was done. Everybody is able to wear their sponsors – this is unacceptable.
"I'll be wearing them, or I won't be there. Let me know tonight, so I can go home tomorrow."
Both camps appear to be standing firm on their positions, With Rose asserting the issue had already been decided in the initial contracts.
"We've got the contract that says that Sportsbet is our betting partner, and that's who we'll stick with for the event … anything that's not Sportsbet won't be accepted."
But Hogan's manager Danny Dimas, isn't budging, telling Fox Sports: "We're going to wear the shorts one way or another."
"They want to do anything about it, take us to court, but that's what we're walking out in.
"There's not much money in boxing, especially in Australia. Every dollar counts. He's got a family that he needs to look after."

Tale of the tape
Tim Tszyu has promised a spectacular knockout of opponent Dennis Hogan when the pair fight in Newcastle on Wednesday night.
The fighters weighed in on Tuesday, making the super-welterweight bout official
Hogan (28-3-1, 7 KOs) weighed in at 69.4kg, then Tszyu (17-0, 13 KOs) tipped the scales at 69.3kg.
Tszyu destroyed Bowyn Morgan by first-round knockout in his last fight, during December last year. He had hoped to fight for a world title in his next bout but it biding his time due to the complicated machinations of boxing.
Tszyu is the WBO's No.1 contender and world rated with every other sanctioning body in boxing. Yet WBO champion Brian Castano is currently chasing a unification bout with IBF-WBA-WBC champion Jermell Charlo.
Hogan, 36, is a former world title challenger, an Irishman now based in Queensland. Tszyu, 26, is the son of boxing icon Kostya Tszyu and has steadily built his own stardom in the sport.
