WATCH: Kevin Durant Makes Wizards’ Forward Dance While Showing Off His Incredible Dribbling Skills

Brooklyn NetsKevin Durant is proving that no injury can slow him down. Despite facing an Achilles tear at the end of his 13th season in the league, KD’s Midas touch is still with him. He missed all of last season recovering from the injury but hasn’t missed a beat on the court. He is averaging 28 points on the season and doing it in an effortless and efficient manner.

While he still has his shooting stroke, KD has also shown how tight his handle can be for a near 7-footer. He put his dribbling skills on display against the Washington Wizards sophomore forward Rui Hachimura.

KD took Hachimura off the dribble and first had him going left, and then quickly switched directions to the right. Hachimura couldn’t keep up and KD got a completely open lane to go in and dunk the ball home over Thomas Bryant in the paint.

Kevin Durant: Is he back at 100%?

The biggest question around the Eastern Conference this season was the health of Kevin Durant. While he signed a four-year contract with the Nets when he was injured, people openly wondered whether he will come back at his previous level of production. However, KD has proven that the worry was not necessary.

He and Kyrie Irving have formed a dangerous tandem this season, and everyone in the league have their eyes towards them. But the issue with this team is consistency.

The Nets lost this game to the Wizards who started the season 0-5. Spencer Dinwiddie was ruled out for the season last week, and the Nets have been missing him on the court. After a strong start to the season, the Nets have now fallen below .500 and have a record of 3-4.

This team will rebound, so no one should be too worried. However, elite teams shouldn’t have runs like this. Hopefully, this is just a momentary lapse for the Nets and they can turn it around soon. KD and Kyrie are doing their bit, but now everyone needs to come together to lock opponents up.
