Australia are no longer the number-one ranked Test team in the world after New Zealand, spearheaded by prolific batsman Kane Williamson and bean-stalk quick Kyle Jamieson, demolished Pakistan by an innings and 176 runs in Christchurch to claim the title for the first time ever.
Tim Paine's men are now tasked with winning the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series to return to the top perch, while India will jump both Australia and New Zealand if they emerge as victors.

The 26-year-old's third-innings onslaught followed his 5-69 on the opening day of the match.

But Williamson was named player of the series after garnering 388 runs at an average of 129.33, including knocks of 129 and 238.
The star right-hander last week became the number-one ranked batsman in Test cricket, edging ahead of Virat Kohli and Steve Smith.
