UFC heavyweight Francis Ngannou took to social media and came out to congratulate Ryan Garcia after his KO win. The 22-year-old surging champ in Garcia stopped Luke Campbell via a well-placed liver shot after going through early adversity. Francis Ngannou couldn’t help but tip his hat to Garcia’s clinical win and shared a clip of their session that had gone viral.

The aforementioned clip isn’t the only time Francis Ngannou trained with other star athletes from other sports. He often spends his time honing his skills in different departments and his social media features other martial arts specialists. Given Garcia’s recent success, it’s safe to say that UFC heavyweights better be wary of Ngannou’s body shot game.
In a more serious wane, ‘KingRy’ Garcia has certainly launched himself as a bonafide star amongst the current active 135’ers. His win over grizzly competitor Luke Campbell came out to be more decisive than Campbell’s other losses to Jorge Linares and Vasyl Lomachenko. This victory will be a huge boost to Garcia’s profile and confidence and sets up a date with Devin Haney.
Francis Ngannou: What’s next for ‘The Predator’
When he’s not training with championship-level boxers, Francis Ngannou comes dialed in to make his way towards a UFC championship. What’s more, for all intents and purposes, he’s next in line for a title shot against Stipe Miocic once the firefighter heals up. Dana White has come out and confirmed that Ngannou is next in line despite Jon Jones recently moving to heavyweight.
The Cameroonian has earned his stripes as his last four contests have clocked in a 40-second average time. Furthermore, his recent wins include KO demolitions over former champions like Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos. The new school of heavyweights like Curtis Blaydes and Jairzinho Rozenstruik hasn’t been able to escape his wrath either.
The heavyweight division has been static for a considerable period due to the Miocic x Cormier trilogy that played out. Ngannou will be a happy camper knowing that he’s solely the man who’ll attempt to snag Miocic’s belt in a rematch.
