However, in 2017, Mick entered the Formula 3 European Championship, competing for Prema Powerteam. However, the year was not fortunate for the German. Nevertheless, in 2018, he ravaged fiercely through the grid and earned the championship at the season’s end.
In 2019, Schumacher Jr. made his appearance in the Formula 2 Series, competing for Prema Racing. However, the season turned out to be not so lucky for him. Subsequently, he stood 12th in the Championship, bagging one victory, one fastest lap, and further 53 points.
The season 2020, though doomed for many, amidst the global pandemic situation, turned out to be lucky for him. He earned his best position in the year, ranking first. Further, he clinched the Championship title.

The junior Schumacher, following the footsteps of his father, enrolled in the Ferrari Driver Academy. With intense hard work and self-dependence, he has cultivated a relationship with his father’s former team.
Though he adores the team dearly, the 2021 season will not be the one where he dons the red suit. The Italian Giants have efficient racers like Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz signed in for the team. Instead, he will start racing with the Haas F1 team. He will team up with Nikita Mazepin, a fellow rookie.
Keeping the achievements and the accomplishments of the young racer in the count, it is further deduced that he is competitive, steady, and has potential.
