Rawalpindi: Zimbabwe’s skipper Chamunorwa Chibhabha has won the toss and decided to bat first in the opening T20I in three-matches series here at Pindi Stadium on Saturday.
“Winning last ODI has raised our confidence and we are looking forward to give the home side a tough time in the shorter format series,” Chibhabha said after winning the toss.
Babar Azam, on the other hand, is confident to maintain dominance in their favorite format. “This series brings a lot of opportunities for us. We will try to play aggressive cricket here and win the series,” he said.
It must be noted here that Usman Qadir is making his T20I debut from Pakistan.
