Imam, Abid, Haris released from squad after completion of ODI series

Rawalpindi: Openers Imam-ul-Haq and Abid Ali along with middle-order batsman Haris Sohail have been released from the 22-member squad.

The Pakistan men’s national team management decided following the completion of the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe.

It must be noted that the ODI series, which was part of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League, concluded yesterday with Zimbabwe winning the last match in Super Over and Pakistan recording a 2-1 series win.

Both two teams will now play three T20Is at the Pindi Cricket Stadium on 7,8 and 10 November.
