The heavyweight division is one of the deepest rosters in boxing. It has sheltered several elites throughout the years. That said, the current unit is equally stacked with umpteen A-listers in Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder, and several others.
WBC champion Tyson Fury and unified champion Anthony Joshua are ruling the division by holding their respective belts. However, Tyson Fury does not consider Joshua an equal.
Fury billed Wilder and himself as two of the best heavyweights at this point. While he considers Joshua in his top-five, he doesn’t see him anywhere close to Wilder or himself.

‘The Gypsy King’ connected with Talk Sport to discuss several things going on in his boxing career. While his upcoming trilogy fight against Deontay Wilder is still up in the air, Fury desires to lock horns against Joshua before that.
“Joshua on any given day, I have said these many times, all these heavyweights can beat each other,” said Fury.
Meanwhile, he also gave his opinion on the active heavyweights and claimed that all of them can beat each other. However, Fury labeled himself as the best and placed Wilder right after him.
When asked about the top five boxers in the heavyweight division, Fury said: “Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder, Oleksandr Usyk, Anthony Joshua, Alexander Povetkin.”
Although many may not agree with it, Fury said that he and Wilder can wreck the entire weight class. While predicting a fight between Anthony Joshua and ‘The Bronze Bomber,’ he also said that Wilder will “100%” beat Joshua up.
Fury will put his newly achieved WBC title on the line as he prepares for Deontay Wilder. The duo is set to fight each other in an epic trilogy contest later this year. However, the fight is still to get the official nod.
In the meantime, Fury has also desired to face Joshua in a title unification matchup. Thus, anything can happen at this point and fight fans might get some surprise thrillers soon.
