Chad Knaus all set for NASCAR Cup Series race at Bristol

The team is one of the most successful teams in the NASCAR Playoffs. Crew Chief Chad Knaus has been praising the outfit for all the efforts it has been putting in since the start of the 2020 season.

In a recent interview, Knaus mentioned that the team should be prepared for everything when they roll into a track like Bristol. He said: “Honestly, you are just going there with your gloves on and get ready to fight. That’s what we need to do.”

He even believes that the Bristol speedway can be one tricky track to race on. The race can change in a matter of laps at this track, and anyone can win.

He further adds: “What’s unique about this track is you do get some players up there towards the front that can potentially change things up and maybe surprise you. Somebody unique can get out there and win a race. It’s a tough place, you’ve got to get ready and go out there and fight.”

Hendrick Motorsports has won 44 races in the NASCAR Cup Series postseason. This contributes to 28% of all Playoffs races. Above all, the team is far ahead of its nearest competitor, Joe Gibbs Racing, which has won 28 races in the NASCAR Playoffs.

The 2020 season is the 15th successive year that the team is running two drivers in the Playoffs. It is the 13th season for the team with at least three drivers in Playoffs.
