Yakuza is one of the major classic series from the house of Sega. The latest installment in the series, Yakuza: Like a Dragon has already released on the PlayStation 4, in Japan. This title is considerably different from the other ones in terms of gameplay. Rather than the real-time, beat ’em up gameplay, Like a Dragon features turn-based RPG gameplay.
Fans from Japan have responded with hugely positive reviews for the game, while worldwide users wait for this game to be available on the current and next-gen consoles, as well as PC.

As of now, the release date for the game on the Xbox Series S/X, PS4, and PC is the 10th of November this year. However, the PS5 version of the game will not release until next year, on the 2nd of March, 2021.
Future PlayStation 5 users need not be disheartened by the delay in the release of Yakuza: Like a Dragon
Although it will mean a long wait for the PS5 users, it is not all bad news. For Xbox Series X/S and PS5 users, the game will have a free upgrade option. This means that you can buy the Xbox One/PS4 version of the game and then have it upgraded for the next-gen consoles for free.
As for the Xbox users, smart delivery will be taking care of this. It will enable users to take the Xbox One version of the title to the Xbox Series S, or the Series X version. As for PlayStation users, it will be even simpler. It will simply replace the digital copies of the PS4 version of the game with a free digital copy of the PS5 version.
Yakuza is one of the best franchises developed by Sega, and fans will be happy to hear about the free upgrade for the next-gen consoles.
