The Secret Behind Aaron Rodgers’ Training Clip From 2010

The 2020 season promises to be another rollercoaster ride for Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. The seasoned NFL veteran is once again at the center of debates in the build-up to the upcoming season. The arrival of young Utah State rookie Jordan Love was met with a mixed response in Wisconsin.

Packers fans have grown accustomed to watching Rodgers play regularly at Lambeau Field, week after week. However, Love’s acquisition could hint that Rodgers’ time with the Packers is nearing its end. There were rumors that the veteran NFL quarterback is ‘unhappy’ and could disrupt the atmosphere in the dressing room. All false.

The two-time NFL MVP is looking sharp in preseason training. In fact, A-Rod has also taken young Jordan Love under his wing. Videos of Rodgers mentoring Love during throwing drills are doing the rounds lately. This just goes to prove how the highly-rated quarterback is truly a leader in Wisconsin.

What did Aaron Rodgers see in the 2010 clip that inspired him?

In a recent interaction with the team’s media personnel, Aaron Rodgers spoke about how a training clip from 2010 has led to changes in his regime. Rodgers stumbled upon something from 2010 while rewatching old film which sparked something inside his mind. He immediately used that inspiration during preseason all through last week.

Of course, Aaron was smart enough to keep the secret to himself. He wouldn’t want his opponents to know his secrets, would he?

The Packers will hope to do better than they did last season. They looked in good form during regular season but stumbled in the NFC Division game against San Francisco 49ers. Rodgers, in particular, did not have a good outing in that game. The former Super Bowl winner threw 31 passes on 39 attempts for 326 yards. He completed two touchdowns but also had two interceptions in that game.

This was Rodgers’ fourth-consecutive disappointment in the Championship game. He has a total of six touchdowns, seven interceptions, and a 78.0 passer rating from those contests. Matt LaFleur’s Green Bay Packers take on Minnesota Vikings in the opening game of their 2020 campaign.
