Australia's tour of England has been confirmed after the cricket team was granted a special exemption to travel to the United Kingdom.
England will play Australia in three international Twenty20 matches at The Ageas Bowl (also known as Rose Bowl) between September 4-6 and three one-day international matches at Old Trafford between September 11-16. All matches will be played behind closed doors.
Australia's cricket squad will arrive in the United Kingdom on August 24 and travel to Derbyshire Country Cricket Ground. They will then transfer to Southampton for the three-match IT20 series following England's third Test against Pakistan on August 27.
"We are very excited to be heading to England and to get back into the international fray," Cricket Australia interim Chief Executive Officer, Nick Hockley, said.
"We congratulate the ECB on leading the resumption of the game in a way that places the health and safety of players and staff at its core.
"We would also like to thank the Australian Government for granting travel exemptions for the Australian men's team, as well as all those who have worked tirelessly to put together a plan that allows for the tour to progress in a bio-secure way."
Before the start of the IT20 series Australia will have one 50-over intra-squad practice match and three T20 practice matches.
The three ODI matches against England will form part of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League.
The two teams were originally set to meet in July in England but due to the developinng coronavirus pandemic, those plans were postponed.
As part of their hosting duties, the England venues will have to uphold strict biosecurity measures.

"Their co-operation to ensure these matches are staged is crucial to cricket in this country. It will also provide much-needed financial aid at all levels of cricket in England and Wales as we work through the challenges in front of us.
