Shahid Afridi Foundation logo to feature on Pakistan’s playing kits on England tour

Karachi: Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has announced that his foundation’s logo will feature of the Pakistan cricket team’s playing kits during the series against England.

The team is currently training in Worcester ahead of three Tests and as many T20Is in August and September and were recently spotted with no logo on its training kits.

Boom Boom took to Twitter in response to a tweet and announced the news. “We’re delighted that the Shahid Afridi Foundation logo will be featured on Pakistan playing kits since we are charity partners to PCB. Thanking Wasim Khan and the PCB for their continued support & wishing our boys all the very best with the tour.”

According to sources, PCB is struggling to find a sponsor after their last sponsorship contract, which already expired with a beverage company. During the recent bidding process, only one company has shown interest.

Former PCB Chairman Khalid Mahmood on Monday requested the Green Shirts to wear the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement logo just like West Indies and England.
