Lahore: Fast bowler Mohammad Amir has been tested negative for COVID-19 in the second test taken on Wednesday and is now eligible to travel to England.
Masseur Mohammad Imran has also tested negative in both the tests. Both of them are in a bio-secure environment at a local hotel in Lahore.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is now making arrangements for the travel of Amir and Imran and details will be released by the PCB in the near future.

It must be noted that Amir will join national squad for T20Is against England in place of Haris Rauf who had tested COVID-19 positive five times out of six. Wicket-keeper batsman Rohail Nazir will be released from the squad as soon as Amir joins.
Pakistan will play three matches Test series against England from August 5. Green shirts will play three T20Is on August 28, 30 and September 1, respectively.
