AFL fixture in chaos as Richmond denied entry to Queensland

The AFL could reschedule two fixtures in the coming round because of Victoria’s spike in coronavirus cases, according to multiple reports.

The Queensland government is reportedly resisting Richmond’s scheduled travel to the Gold Coast to play West Coast on Thursday night.

Reports suggest that match will be changed with the Tigers staying home to play Melbourne, who were scheduled to face Sydney.

The Swans will likely travel to Queensland to play the Eagles, according to reports from News Corp and Nine newspapers.
