UFC star Nate Landwehr has taken the extraordinary step of calling out UFC boss Dana White in the middle of his brutal encounter with Darren Elkins.
Early on in the UFC Florida card, Landwehr opened up Elkins after a sharp elbow opened up a forehead gash that resulted in blood seeping from Elkins' head throughout the fight.
In the second round of the fight, Landwehr displayed his confidence by calling out White while also fighting with one hand behind his back.
Landwehr eventually took the unanimous decision in the pulsating fight, and was not lacking for confidence after the bout.
"Feels good, feel like a winner baby," Landwehr said post-fight. "I feel a little bloody, but I feel great. Not only to win, but also a great show for the fans. I'm ready to fight and put on a show.
"My manager called me with Darren Elkins, I knew he had fought the who's who. I think I beat him just as bad as the champ beat him. He's beat a lot of good people and he's had close fights with a lot of people, I think I beat him pretty handily.
"I could have poured it on a little bit more if I wasn't doing so much entertaining. I think I just proved that I am one of the most elite fighters on the planet."
Landwehr's win brought his career record to 14-3 while Elkins' record dropped to 24-9.
