Chicago Bulls ave started their search for a new top executive role in their franchise who will have full authority on basketball operations. ESPN reported that their shortlist for the role include Denver Nuggets GM (General Manager) Arturas Karnisovas and Toronto Raptors GM Bobby Webster among others,
The reports suggested that the Bulls’ current executive vice president of basketball operations John Paxson is likely to continue in his role. However, the future of GM Gar Forman remains uncertain.
ESPN reported that among Bulls’ initial plans was to seek permission to interview Karnisovas and Webster.

Karnisovas, who has previously worked with Houston Rockets, has helped the Nuggets become consistent playoff contenders. Prior to the league’s suspension, the Nuggets were third in the Western Conference. The Bulls, who are currently looking to become strong contenders again, will be looking to get in a person who could help them do that.
Chicago Bulls also look towards Miami Heat & Indiana Pacers among other options
Among other options, as per Darnell Mayberry of The Athletic, the Bulls are also looking at Indiana Pacers’ Chad Buchanan and Miami Heat’s Adam Simon.

Chicago will not pursue OKC’s Sam Presti or Toronto’s Masai Ujiri, according to sources, and does not plan to go player agent route.

The coronavirus pandemic does not seem to be stopping their hunt for a new top executive. As per reports, they will conduct the interviews electronically, next week.
