Racing driver Fernando Alonso is all set to be the subject of an Amazon series. It will be showcasing his arrangements for his first Dakar Rally.
The former McLaren driver took to Instagram to announce the launch of the series.
He said ” Very excited to announce the documentary series “Fernando”, a very personal vision of this season full of challenges. An unforgettable year Coming soon in@primevideoes”
The five-part series, titled Fernando, is made by Spain’s The Mediapro Studio and will be shown on Amazon Prime Video. It will premier in Spain, France, Italy, UK, and Latin America in the second half of 2020.
During the narrative, Alonso’s inward circle gives an understanding of the previous F1 champion. While his sister, Lorena Alonso, and his accomplice, Linda Morselli will also feature in the series.
Fans to get unprecedented access to the Formula 1 world.
The series will dig into the life of the two-time F1 victor. He won consecutive titles in 2005 and 2006, both on and off the track over the previous year since his retirement from F1 in 2018. It will record his participation in occasions including the Indianapolis 500 and Le Mans 24 hours, coming full circle in his first trip at Dakar Rally last January.
