David Warner is up for IPL 2020, says his manager
David Warner is one of the most destructive players in the cricket world. He is an asset to his IPL Franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad. Warner is one of those rare players who have won the orange cap thrice in the IPL. He scored most runs as a batsman in the year 2015, 2017 and 2019. He played a key role in making Sunrisers Hyderabad win their maiden IPL title in 2016.
While talking to a leading portal, David Warner’s manager confirmed his presence in this season of IPL. However, it all depends on the fact whether the league would take place or get abandoned.
“If the IPL is on, David Warner’s planning on going. If things change dramatically, which can happen in the space of an hour, the answer is you change your mind,” Warner’s manager James Erskine said as quoted by The Age.
The presence of David Warner in the IPL 2020 is very important for his team as this time he is the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad.
BCCI is most likely to decide the fate of IPL 2020 within a couple of days. Chances are that the IPL can either get canceled this year or postponed for a couple of months.
Amid the various speculation, all we can do is to wait for some official announcement by BCCI or the Franchises to get clarity regarding the upcoming Indian Premier League.
